The Appellate Project was born out of the fundamental belief that our highest courts are strongest when they reflect our communities. That’s why our mission is to empower law students of color to thrive in the appellate field, a space in which minorities have historically been underrepresented. Our programming gives law students the access, opportunities, and encouragement they need to become the next generation of lawyers and judges in our highest courts.
