  • Substantive subject matter expertise of the appellate system, including its culture and systemic barriers to access.

  • Passion for entrepreneurship and experience building things, whether its innovative and impactful programming or building and managing high-performing teams in mission-driven organizations.

  • Working with a diverse constituency (in our case, this includes attorney and judge volunteers, law firms, and students), to develop and oversee innovative and impactful content and programming from the ground up.

  • Robust operations efficiency, including experience streamlining systems and processes while ensuring smooth day-to-day functionality across budgeting, vendor management, and administrative workflows.

  • Strong strategic vision combined with practical implementation skills – professionals who can both develop big-picture strategies and successfully execute them.

  • Excellence in project management, including experience overseeing multiple complex initiatives while maintaining attention to detail and meeting critical deadlines.

  • Exceptional relationship-building abilities, with a demonstrated history of fostering productive partnerships across the legal community.

  • A proven track record of building successful development infrastructure in a growing organization, including earned revenue models.

  • A collaborative leadership style that emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and inclusive team cultures.
