King Adjei-Frimpong
Director of Stakeholder Engagement, Texas Education Agency
King is the Director of Stakeholder Engagement at Texas Education Agency (TEA), where he leads the engagement strategy with key partners including districts that serve the 5.5 million K-12 students, educators, and community leaders. His efforts utilize a human-centered approach to partnership development. By understanding what makes a particular community unique, TEA better ascertains how students and their communities are impacted by education policies and how they can better be served.
Prior to TEA, King worked as a management consultant for Bridgespan, a social impact consulting firm, where he advised some of the most influential organizations in the social sector.
He has a deep passion for advancing core civil and economic rights as well as environmental justice. He’s a budding storyteller who is interested in understanding and sharing stories of resilience.
King received his B.A. in Political Science from UCLA and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
