Jeorjet Reyes

Associate

Jeorjet’s passion to work in the nonprofit sector started during high school. As president of Ewing High School’s Rotary Interact Club, Jeorjet sought out a number of volunteer opportunities, including serving at the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen. These experiences drove her passion for giving back to individuals who are underserved in society. She enrolled in a dual degree program at Seton Hall University, where she received her B.A. in Political Science and is obtaining her M.P.A. in Nonprofit Management.

While in college, Jeorjet worked for Seton Hall University’s Center of Community Research and Engagement, where she conducted research on the immigration programs that exist at parochial schools across America. This research was part of an effort to develop an immigration program at Seton Hall University that would partner with the local diocese to address the area’s immigration concerns.

Jeorjet’s work with The Appellate Project began with her summer internship through The Washington Center. That experience provided Jeorjet the opportunity to begin her career in the nonprofit sector and live out her passion for assisting underserved communities.

In her spare time, Jeorjet loves watching K-dramas, taking power naps, and exploring new restaurants to eat at with her loved ones.
