Jeorjet Reyes

Program Officer

Jeorjet has long been committed to advancing equity and expanding opportunities for underrepresented communities—a passion that has guided her academic and professional path. She earned her B.A. in Political Science and her Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from Seton Hall University, where she worked with the Center of Community Research and Engagement to identify opportunities in addressing local immigration needs. Jeorjet’s research on the impact of conflicting ideological opinions within a political party was also published in Locus: The Seton Hall Journal of Undergraduate Research.

She first connected with The Appellate Project (TAP) as a summer intern through The Washington Center’s Academic Internship Program, where she was inspired by TAP’s mission to open doors in the appellate field. Today, she plays a key role in TAP’s programming and operations, coordinating mentorship opportunities, curating community-building events, and sharing TAP’s work in publications like The Teen Mag—all efforts aimed at empowering the next generation of appellate advocates.

She is proud to contribute to TAP’s vision of an appellate system that reflects the diversity and talent of our nation. Outside of work, Jeorjet enjoys watching movies, exploring new food spots, and recharging with the occasional power nap.
